Nancy McGee | Fayre
Crossley Nancy McGee Nancy McGee has been with The Grant Center since 1992, serving as Associate Director and being appointed Executive Director in 1995. She has over twenty-five years of experience in working with public and private nonprofit organizations in the areas of organizational management, planning, collaboration, and securing and managing grants. She has a Bachelors degree in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration. Nancy is responsible for providing direction to and leadership in the
achievement of the Centers vision, mission, strategic goals and
objectives. Fayre Crossley Fayre Crossley joined The Grant Center in January 2001 as Associate Director. For ten years, she served as a grant writer and Director of Foundations for a local healthcare foundation, and worked as a marketing manager/director in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors. She has a Bachelors degree in Philosophy and American History and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Fayres is responsible for the overall operation of the Grants
Division, including overseeing research, development, and management
activities. She screens and certifies freelance consultants in
the field of grants and serves as a liaison between consultants and
organizations receiving grant development assistance. Mark Heuberger Mark Heuberger joined The Grant Center in November 2005. For over 25 years he worked for Memphis Light, Gas and Water managing employee and public communications programs, media relations, community relations, graphic arts, printing services and the website. In 2004, he was selected as "Best Communications Executive" by the American Business Awards. He has a Bachelors degree in Journalism and a Masters in Communications. Mark is responsible for implementing communications and marketing
programs that promote training activities, professional services and
membership benefits. He manages graphic design and printing of Grant
Center publications, coordinates web site design, and serves as liaison
to the media. He also works closely with the Washington Representative
to coordinate legislative affairs and advocacy. Melissa Hanson Melissa Hanson joined The Grant Center in March 2004 as a Research Associate. She comes to Memphis from Philadelphia and to The Grant Center after five years in professional and community theater. Melissa also worked for a local engineering firm, writing and editing proposals for government contracts. She has a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Melissa coordinates The Center's training calendar and annual conference, recruiting both local and nationally-known facilitators for workshops on a variety of topics.
